Schreuder and Oliveira: Facing Khorfakkan Requires Focus and High Spirit

The pre-match press conference for the ADNOC Pro League Round 25 clash between Al Nasr and Ittihad Kalba was held today, ahead of the match set to take place at Kalba Stadium.

Al Nasr head coach Alfred Schreuder opened the conference by highlighting the importance and difficulty of the upcoming match, noting that Ittihad Kalba come into the fixture with high morale after securing three consecutive victories. He stressed that Al Nasr players must maintain maximum focus to secure all three points.

Schreuder commented: “Mehdi Ghaedi is one of Kalba’s key players and a major influence on their performance. We've been affected this season by injuries, particularly the absence of Haris and Touré, in addition to some misfortune in certain matches. However, I'm satisfied with what we've delivered. In recent games, we’ve shown great character and achieved positive results.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Matheus de Oliveira expressed the team’s readiness and strong desire to secure a positive outcome. He said, “Our goal as players is to give our all and help the team finish the season in the best possible position. We know it will be a tough game against Kalba, but we have the determination and will to win.”

Oliveira also spoke about his experience with Al Nasr, stating: “From my very first day at the club, I felt at home. The atmosphere here is amazing, and everyone works together like a family. I’m proud to be part of this great organization.”
